Here's a compilation of three clips that I've been wanting to show, but which didn't really merit their own video.

Okay, so maybe the lower tier Russian fighters aren't that bad, time to take another look. Along the way, I find a perfect example of why you should point and laugh at anyone who says War Thunder is Pay to Win.

Murphy's Laws of Combat:
Incoming Fire has right of way.
Friendly fire, isn't.
The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.

Yeah, it's been one of those days...

Like it says in the title, Bombers are getting a really raw deal lately, but patch 1.27 only made an already crappy situation worse. Here's what I mean...

The most common question anyone ever asks me in War Thunder, other than "Why are you so awesome?"* is "How do I get a bad guy off my tail?"

Here's the best answer I can come up with.

*Part or all of this statement may be complete bullshit.

After getting the Yak-9t for the Red Army Air Force I'm going to have to apologise for all the smack I talked about the earlier Soviet fighters. This thing rocks.

I decide to give the Japanese some love, since their fighters play a lot like my beloved Brits and I've not given them a lot of coverage. I'm then immediately reminded of why I love the way War Thunder rewards you for your personal performance, because I ended up with a team that would have problems finding their own arse in the dark without a flashlight.

War Thunder's attracting more and more mainstream attention lately. Some of you may know DevilDogGamer, a former US Marine with a popular YouTube gaming channel, and he's caught the War Thunder bug, too. Last night we flew a few missions together.

The two aircraft I get asked to cover more than any other - the F4U and P-47D - there's a couple of reasons why you almost never see me flying them. One's my fault - I'm not a very good energy fighter, the other one... isn't my fault.

In which I take to the air with nothing higher than tier 4 aircraft and wipe the floor with a tier 14 enemy team. I love this game!
